This painting was made in 2015.
I was struggling with depression and mental health issues. I saw my life before me as fight between life and death, happiness and depression. I used this painting to help me get a grip on what i wanted. Like my other paintings it is based on a thought, a dream, fantasy and is open to any personal interpretation of the viewer. It was my hope that others could see themselves and their struggles in the painting.
