Yellow, pink and green Jazz Daan’s inspiration comes from everywhere: a beautiful poem, a strange song, an everyday event. Daan works in an old mill. There she makes her paintings. Cloths large, bright colors, often a bit boring and occasional abstract. Works with acrylic paint that is sometimes mixed with sand, plaster, sawdust or even old iron, feathers or … “There ‘s more that triggers her ideas: the underwater world: Shells, the power of wind and water, but especially music – JAZZ – may be the reason for trying to show impressions in a painting.
